Last month (8th May 2013) saw Wetherby staggered by the interest from visitors at the Greenbuild Expo, one of the biggest sustainable building events in the UK.
Exhibiting for the third year, the Wetherby stand was constantly three people deep, with the team not only responding to enquiries for new projects, but also discussing partnerships with funding providers, installers and training providers.
The UK’s newest sustainable building and refurbishment exhibition, the Greenbuild Expo is an essential event for those in the construction industry, offering an insight into all aspects of sustainable building from training opportunities and renewable technologies through to sustainable materials and legislation updates.
Showcasing its wide range of External Wall Insulation systems, Wetherby was able to clearly demonstrate the most effective insulated render solutions for live housing regeneration projects that were being specified.
In addition to exhibiting its product portfolio, Wetherby also spent a large amount of time at the exhibition discussing funding options for EWI projects under the new ECO scheme. With a lot of confusion over how the funding process works, Wetherby was on hand to explain the way it works and how social housing providers can access the necessary funding to complete projects.
Quoting for new projects on the back of the event, as well as progressing new partnership opportunities, the exhibition was a resounding success for Wetherby.
