As in previous years, instead of handing out the usual cards and festive gifts, we have decided to make a contribution to this year’s nominated charity ‘Bolton Smiley Faces’.
Bolton Smiley Faces are a local, parent-led support group, offering invaluable support and advice to the parents, families and carers of children with Down Syndrome. The group offers a safe and challenging environment for the children to meet, play and learn as well as playing host at a range of seminars at regional hospitals, with an aim of educating midwives and paediatric professionals on the realities when being faced with the condition.
