Wetherby project ahead of schedule

A project to create 23 new homes on a disused vinery site sporting a Wetherby Building Systems is ahead of schedule.

The Guernsey Housing Association project has seen R.G.Falla working near the king Edward VII Hospital.

The timber framed properties are being installed with a Wetherby insulated render system, directly fixed with EpsiTherm insulation and silicone render.

GHA chief executive Steve Williams said he was pleased with the progress on the houses and flats, commenting;

‘Construction has gone very well with many houses externally complete ahead of schedule.’

Wetherby System Used on ‘Best Social Housing Development’

Wetherby Building Systems Ltd is delighted to have been involved with Brenig Construction for the Cartrefi Conwy’s Maes Glanarfon estate in Llanfairfechan which has seen recent success at the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2017. The evening saw Brenig Construction awarded with Best Social Housing Development for this project which featured Wetherby’s unique Epsicoat Mineral Render PLUS.

Brenig Construction along with Beech Developments worked together on this project with a firm focus on producing environmentally friendly and thermally efficient properties for the local community. The development which contains 17 one and two bed apartments and 11 two and three bed houses

Barnstaple’s New Attractive Waterfront Development

A prime waterside location in Barnstaple’s historic water front is the latest new development to benefit from Wetherby’s external wall insulation system, breathing a new lease of life into Brunswick Wharf.

Major plans were approved by Torridge District Council for new housing along with a marina, shops, restaurants and cafes as part of a new regeneration scheme that will see the neglected site revived making vital contributions for the local community.

Small Scale Project Win

Wetherby Building Systems Ltd was last night celebrating with Pioneer Wall Cladding & Building Insulation Ltd after their project sporting a Wetherby system won ‘Small Scale Project of the Year’.

The Project Adelphi Road was entered into the category at the Regional Energy Efficiency & Healthy Homes Awards for Greater London.

The aim of the awards is to provide public recognition for the excellent work the Energy Efficiency sector is doing in implementing energy efficiency measures, and helping to encourage best practice within the Energy Industry as it, works to improve UK housing stock.

Wetherby Deliver Growth in South Wales

Following rapid growth of its South Wales operation, Wetherby Building Systems has made significant investment in its fleet, with the introduction of a new 26 tonne wagon to service hard to reach areas of Wales and the West Country.

Due to continuing success of the company’s Bridgend depot, Wetherby Building Systems has introduced a new 26 tonne curtain side wagon into its fleet. New Jersey Shop Space Sporting Wetherby EWI System

A Wetherby insulated render system has been used on a NEW three-story flagship building on the corner of Hilgrove Street and Halkett Street in St Helier, Jersey.

The new building has been created in St Helier, sporting a Wetherby Insulated Render System.

Wetherby’s external wall insulation system was specified for the project and installed by MKM Plastering, incorporating 90mm EpsiTherm Insulation and 1.5mm Silicone ‘K’ Finish in 0500N.

The corner building was handled by Camerons and designed by architects TSAssociates, providing a fresh look to the area with 8,500 sqft of retail and storage space.

Bluecoat Academy, Billborough

A major £5.7m development to construct a new primary school in Nottingham, has utilised external wall insulation from Wetherby Building Systems to ensure the school meets the energy efficiency requirements of new building regulations.

Bluecoat Academy Primary School has been built as a response to the shortage of primary age places in Nottingham and is part of a wider scheme, which has seen Nottingham Council invest £33.2m in creating more than 4,000 additional primary school places across the city.
