From refurbishments to new build expansions, Wetherby are pleased to have been working alongside discount supermarket Aldi on their continuous development plans.

We are delighted to have had our insulated render system specified on multiple stores nationwide to create a clean modern look as specified by the retail giant. With Aldi looking to grow on their current 700+ stores, we are looking forward to seeing the outcome of the finished projects throughout the UK sporting the Wetherby facade system.

With this in mind an ambitious plan to regenerate the whole estate was crucial and with the community

Wetherby’s Dry Dash helps to restore St Helens Chantry!

By: Laura Hennahane   •   November 10, 2017

Wetherby has taken the opportunity to donate nearly 2 tonnes of its dry dash to help a local restoration project.

St Helens Chantry was built by Sir Thomas Gerard and consecrated by John Catrick; the Bishop of Coventry and Lichfield in June 1415 making it over 600 years old.

There is believed to be around 8000 burials within the grounds dating back to the 1600’s and over the last 5 years a further 300 stones have been unearthed from 2 feet underground including many graves of soldiers.

A group of local volunteers are currently working hard to restore the tombstones

Pavestone Rally 2017 set to achieve record breaking donations!

By: Laura Hennahane   •   October 16, 2017

Wetherby is delighted to have supported Milford Building Supplies for this year’s 2017 Pavestone Rally Challenge. Every pound raised throughout this event has been equally divided between two well deserving charities, Teenage Cancer Trust and The Rainy Day Trust.

The rules were simple, entrants were tasked to buy a road-legal car for under £500 (the cheaper the car, the more fun!), dress it up and hit Europe’s greatest roads and cities for 4 days to Monte Carlo. Throughout the Rally, the teams had a series of challenges to complete and all four days were spent in fancy dress.
