International Women’s Day (8th March) aims to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women. Here at Wetherby, equality and inclusion is at the heart of our business.
For a company working in construction we feel this is very important, with figures showing only 12.8% of women in the UK working in Construction at the end of 2016. Therefore, we are lucky to have an amazing group of women working throughout all levels at Wetherby; Directors, Managers, Supervisors and Coordinators in Marketing, HR, Logistics, Supply Chain, Training, Technical, Modular, Credit Control, Sales Order Processing, Health and Safety, Finance and Samples.
We think having a more equal gender ratio within a workplace will offer a larger skill set, new viewpoints and ideas as well as a varied and dynamic workplace.
