Wetherby Appointed to National Framework

fusion_21_2015Wetherby Building Systems, the leading provider of solid wall insulation, is celebrating a strong start to the year after its appointment to procurement specialist Fusion21’s ‘Supply of Retrofit and Associated Products’ framework.

The national framework, worth up to £100 million over a four year period, will supply energy efficient materials to local authorities and social housing providers, as well as commercial organisations.

Wetherby is one of 20 material suppliers appointed to the framework and has secured a place on; ‘Lot 2: External Wall Insulation’ and ‘Lot 4: Internal Wall Insulation Measures & Air Tightness’. Other lots awarded within the framework include heat pumps, biomass, energy efficient lighting and mechanical heat ventilation recovery.

With a proven track record in providing solid wall insulation solutions to public sector organisations for more than 20 years, through the framework Wetherby can supply a range of its external and internal wall insulation solutions. These solutions have been specifically developed to work with a variety of traditional and non-traditional properties and construction types.

John Farley, Framework Manager at Fusion21, said: “ Fusion21 members accessing this framework will benefit from greater efficiency savings when purchasing high quality retrofit materials – available to install directly or have fitted via an approved installer.

“We look forward to working with Wetherby as a material supplier, supporting our national Retrofit Framework, which adopts a ‘whole house’ approach to retrofit.”

Wetherby’s Sales Director, Paul Kirby, added: “We are delighted to have been appointed to this framework. We have an enviable reputation for successfully delivering public sector projects, having supplied our systems to some of the UK’s largest social housing regeneration projects over the last two decades, and this win is testament to that.

“We are looking forward to building on the public sector schemes we are already involved with and embarking on some new projects as part of this framework agreement.”
