Denbighshire County Council has recently partnered with Wetherby Building Systems and Willmott Dixon’s Energy Services in order to deliver a training course to unemployed individuals through their community benefit project IN2 Construction.

As part of this project Wetherby has successfully delivered a ‘Level 1 External Wall Insulation Boarding Applicator Course’ for jobseekers in a bid to enhance their prospects of gaining work on the energy efficiency programmes throughout North Wales.

Conwy College Students Getting Stuck in with EWI

Students of Conwy College Llandrillo are taking part in a one day training course today to gain a valuable insight into world of Solid Wall Insulation.

The course has been put together on behalf of Cartrefi Conwy and Brenig Construction and will be delivered by Wetherby Building Systems providing the learners with combined theoretical knowledge and practical skill.

External Wall Insulation Training on the Isle of Man

Plasterers at an Isle of Wight building firm have received specialist training in a new energy-saving render system.

Round the Island Building Ltd organised a training day on Wetherby Building Systems’ external insulated render for solid wall buildings at its offices in Clarence Boatyard, East Cowes.

Tara Perris, from Round the Island Building, said the Isle of Wight Council and energy provider SSE were interested in using the system to improve the eco-credentials of old housing stock on the island.
