Celebrating 10 Years at Wetherby!

The staff at Wetherby’s Haydock depot have been celebrating today as two of their colleagues achieved an amazing milestone.

lesley-bob-10-yearsBoguslaw Winiarski and Lesley Grindley both started working for Wetherby on 6th June 2005 and between them have amassed an incredible 20 years’ service.

Boguslaw (or P.Bob as he is affectionately known), single-handedly manages the production of Wetherby’s product samples. From small petri dishes to huge trade exhibition samples – nothing is too much trouble for Bob – in fact statistics show that he produced almost 840 individual samples in April alone – an incredible achievement!

Lesley who now holds the role of training co-ordinator, manages all of the company’s applicator courses across Wetherby’s training facilities in Haydock, Wakefield, Glasgow, Maesteg and Essex. She began her career with Wetherby as marketing and sales support assistant, a role that was extremely varied and challenging. Her structured approach and meticulous eye for detail gained her the title of ‘Eagle-Eyed Lesley’; so much so that her proof reading skills are still called upon today!

Marketing Director Anne-Marie Armstrong commented, “Ten year’s service is truly a remarkable achievement in this day and age and we couldn’t let this milestone pass without conveying our sincere gratitude to Bob and Lesley for all of the hard work, loyalty and commitment they’ve shown.

“I’ve been lucky enough to have been their line manager since day one and it’s truly encouraging to know that even after all these years, the pair of them still show an immense amount of motivation and dedication towards their role. They’re an absolute credit to the rest of the team and to the company as a whole”.

Congratulations to the pair of them and here’s to the next 10 years!
