EPSIREND -
Scratch Finish
WBS supply two types of render that lends itself perfectly
to being scratched / scraped to provide an open textured
surface.
WBS Epsirend is
a traditional through coloured render which offers a cost
effective and very popular textured finish.
WBS Epsirend WP is a cementitious
render that incorporates silicone technology, which gives
a higher degree of water repellence to the render surface
than traditional sand and cement render, yet still allows
water vapour to pass through the render and let the substrate
breathe.
WBS Epsirend WP is through coloured with the finish displaying
an attractive open texture after being scratched back when
almost set. A smoother texture can also be achieved by the
use of a wooden float, plastic trowel or sponge.
WBS Epsirend WP can be used on full elevations or can be
used together with any of the other WBS finishes, such as
dry dash, brick
effect render or brick
slip.
Ashlar
detailing can also be achieved utilising this product.
WBS Epsirend WP Scratch Render is used extensively throughout
the UK and Ireland, eliminates the need for external painting
and is very easily maintained.
