WBS SILICONE SCRATCH RENDER
WBS supply two types of render that lends itself perfectly
to being scratched / scraped to provide an open textured
surface.
WBS Standard Scratch
Render (Com Rend) is an original
through coloured render which offers a cost effective and
very popular textured finish.
WBS Silicone WP Scratch Render
is a cementitious render that incorporates silicone technology,
which gives a higher degree of water repellence to the render
surface than traditional sand and cement render, yet still
allows water vapour to pass through the render and let the
substrate breathe.
WBS Silicone WP is a through coloured render, the finish
displaying an attractive open texture after being scratched
back when almost set. A smooth texture can also be achieved
by the use of a wooden float, plastic trowel or sponge.
WBS Silicone WP can be used on full elevations or can be
used together with any of the other WBS finishes, such as
dry dash, brick
effect render or brick
slip.
Ashlar
detailing can also be achieved utilising this product.
WBS Silicone WP Scratch Render is used extensively throughout
the UK and Ireland, eliminates the need for external painting
and is very easily maintained.
