After five years of strenuous research and development, Wetherby Building
Systems are delighted to announce that the British Board of Agrément
have finally awarded them BBA Accreditation on their
EPSITEC External Wall Insulation System.
The Epsitec External Wall Insulation System, is designed for use on
sheathed lightweight steel frame and timber frame structures and incorporates
a minimum 15mm wide drainage cavity to assist in the free drainage of
any moisture which may be present behind the facade, in line with NHBC
guidelines.
In conjunction with Kingspan Insulation, WBS selected Kingspan K5-EWB
phenolic insulation boards as the material of choice for this system,
and as such superb thermal performances and considerably low u-values
are easily achievable.
The EPSITEC system can be used on both domestic and non-domestic buildings,
including high-rise structures and it is fully fire tested and compliant
with BS8414 Part 2.
Despite advertising to the contrary, WBS are the only company in the
UK that can offer BBA Certification on this type of system. This makes
for a very exciting opportunity for the WBS team who have already been
bombarded with enquiries.
