Wetherby Building Systems
Ltd specialise in the manufacture and distribution of a
wide range of insulated render systems, polymer cement renders,
silicone & acrylic thin coat renders, brick slip systems
and GRP canopies.
Twenty years ago, the installation
of external insulation in conjunction with a decorative
render facade on buildings was still very much in its infancy
in the UK, despite being used extensively in Europe.
However, changes in Government legislation such as
Part L of the Building Regulations and
the Code for Sustainable Homes, have significantly
increased insulation standards and demanded more innovative
solutions for both new build and refurbishment of residential,
commercial and public buildings.
More and more architects are realising the potential of
WBS Insulated Render Systems and are choosing them as a
cost-effective, environmentally sustainable method of new
build development.
So too are many local authorities and private landlords
realising the positive environmental influence of external
wall insulation when faced with the necessary renovations
that many social housing developments require to bring them
in line with the acceptable thermal levels that are enforced
by Building Regulations (see

examples).
Having nurtured a company of widely experienced professionals,
we like to consider ourselves at the forefront of insulated
render system design and are constantly striving to develop
new EWI systems that perfectly compliment many of the newer
